NUMEROLOGY AND DIFFERENT TYPES OF NUMBER DEFINITIONS

1 Balance number: The balance number is the sum of the numerical value of the initials of the full name as it was given at birth.

2 Birth Day number: The Birth Day number represents the day of birth. This number is reduced to a single digit only when it is part of a calculation to find other numbers.

3 Bridge numbers: The Bridge numbers are found by subtracting one core number from another. The Bridge numbers represent the relationship between the individual core numbers.

4 Capstone: The Capstone is the last letter of the first name as it was given at birth.

5 Cardinal number: Any of the numbers I through 9.

6 Challenge numbers: The Challenge numbers are derived from the date of birth through subtraction.

7 Core numbers: The core numbers are the most important numbers in a numerology chart. They consist of the Life Path number. the Expression number, the Heart’s Desire number, the Personality number, and, after age thirty-five, the Maturity number.

8 Cornerstone: The Cornerstone is the first letter of the first name as it was given at birth.

9 Current name (also called the short name): The current name is the name one uses to introduce oneself, including the last name. (Middle initials, titles, or extensions such as Jr. or  Ill are not used.)

10 Destiny: See Life Path.

11 Evener Cycle: The Esecne Cycle can last from one to nine years, and is based on the combination of Transits that arc in place during any given year. (Ser also Transits.)

12 Expression number: Expression number is the sum of the numerical value of all the letters in the full name as it was given at birth.

13 First Challenge: The First challenge is the difference between the single_ digit numbers that represent the month and the day of birth.

14 Fourth Challenge: The fourth Challenge is the difference between the single-digit numbers that represent the month and the year of birth.

15 Heart’s Desire number: The Heart’s Desire number, sometimes called the Soul Urge number, is the sum of the numerical value of all of the vowels in the full name as it was given at birth.

16 Hidden Passion number: The Hidden Passion number is the number that is represented more often than any other number in the full name, as it was given at birth. A name may reveal more than one Hidden Passion number. Karmic Debt numbers: The Karmic Debt numbers are the numbers 13, 14, 16, and 19.

17 Karmic Lesson number: A Karmic Lesson number is a number that is not represented anywhere in the full name as it was given at birth. A name may reveal more than one Karmic Lesson number.

18 Life Path number: The Life Path number is the most important number in the chart and is based on the sum of all the digits in the date of birth.

19 Main Challenge: The Main Challenge is the difference between the numbers that represent the First and Second Challenge.

20 Master numbers: The Master numbers are the numbers I l, 22, and, in extremely rare cases, the number 33. (Note: Some numerologists believe that the numbers 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, and 99 are also Master numbers. However, the Master numbers I l , 22, and 33 form a triangle that represents potential mastery. The number 33 in the top depicts enlightenment. The numbers 44 and up have no place in this triangle, and should be reduced to single digits.)

21 Maturity number: The Maturity number is found by adding the Expression number to the Life Path number, and by reducing the number found to a single digit. The Maturity number comes in later in life, around age thirty-five.

22 Mental Transit: The Mental Transit is based on the middle name as it was given at birth, or, in case no middle name was given, on the last name as it was given at birth. See also Transits.

23 Minor Expression number: The Minor Expression number is the sum of the numerical value of all the letters in the current name, including the last name.

24 Minor Heart’s Desire number: The Minor Heart’ s Desire number is the sum of the numerical value of all the vowels in the current name.

25 Minor Personality number: The Minor Personality number is found by adding the numerical value of all the consonants of the current name, including the last name.

26 Period Cycles: The Period Cycle is a long-term cycle and is based on the date  of birth.

27 Personal Day number: The Personal Day number lasts one day. The Personal Day number is found by adding the current day to the Personal Month number.

28 Personal Month number: The Personal Month number lasts one month. The Personal Month number is found by adding the current month to the Personal Year number.

29Personal Year number: The Personal Year number lasts one year. The Personal Year number is found by adding the month and the day of birth to the current year.

30 Personality number: The Personality number is found by adding the numerical value of all the consonants of the full name as it was given at birth.

31 Physical Transit: The Physical Transit is based on the first name as it was given at birth. See also Transits.

32 Pinnacle Cycles: The Pinnacle Cycle is a long-term cycle and is based on the date of birth.

33 Planes of Expression: The Planes of Expression reflect the proportions of physical, mental, emotional, and intuitive .letters in the full name, as it was given at birth.

33 Rational Thought number: The Rational Thought number is based on the day of birth, plus the sum of the numerical value of all the letters in the first name as it was given at birth

34 Second Challenge: The Second Challenge is the difference between the single digits that represent the day and the year of birth.

35 Short name: See Current name.

36 Single-digit number: (Same as Cardinal number.) Any of the numbers I through 9.

37 Soul Urge number: See Heart’s Desire number.

38 Spiritual Transit: The Spiritual Transit is based on the last name as it was  given at birth. See also Transits.

39 Subconscious Self number: The Subconscious Self number shows how many numbers are represented by the letters in the full name as it was given at birth. Or the Subconscious Self number is 9 minus the number of Karmic Lessons found in the name.
